Job Description:
Ensure the timely and effective implementation of activities through tracking and monitoring project progress against set objectives, timeline and budget against proposal and donor regulations,
Communicate progress and challenges in implementation, including changes to the security and humanitarian situation, to the Project Manager and the Program Officer as frequently as necessary
Preparation of periodic project programmatic and financial reports on project progress for the Project Manager and Program Officer for submission to donor
Liaise with other implementing partners, community leadership, local authorities or government and local partners, to ensure they understand the project and seek their support as necessary.
Reinforce project staff performance in consultation with the project Manager and Human Resources department
Supervises project staff, providing guidance, monitoring progress and giving clearly defined roles in relation to the project and program objectives and activities.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
- Minimum Qualification required: A university degree in peace building, development studies, social science.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible professional experience in Development programming in Emergency context, including experience in managing WASH and/or Livelihood projects
- Preferred: Certificate in project management with working experience preferably in development or emergency.
Technical Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of project management cycle Knowledge of supply chain principles in humanitarian work Ability to conceptualize and logically document an intervention Ability to plan and conduct an assessment using conventional methodologies (i.e. SPHERE, Child protection policies, Do No Harm, etc.) Ability to network and negotiate with partners Ability to monitor input and activity implementation Good report writing skills. Ability to summarize important information. Analytical and experienced knowledge of the complex emergency context in DRC Being fluently both in French & English (written and oral) DME skills, Proposal Writing, Networking, Facilitation and Presentation skills, etc
