The successful candidate will drive the marketing strategy, product/ brand positioning and guide field force to maximize Shalina’s business performance and augment market-share.
What to expect:
- Implement regional marketing strategy (operational plans, brand & promotional-mix) to meet Shalina’s regional performance and revenue targets in collaboration with sales and other stakeholders.
- Engage the field sales force, key enterprise customers and other resources to capture regional response to promotional activities and campaigns.
- Support the design and periodic review of differential pricing strategy in the region for all brands.
- Monitor regional consumer/ customer/ market needs, competition and business performance to proactively provide the field sales force with adequate support.
- Conduct regional training programs to impart product knowledge to field sales force.
- Collect and analyses regional primary/ secondary sales data to present monthly dashboard reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other functions such as supply chain, manufacturing regulatory etc. to create synergy.
Essential skills & experience:
- Experience driving regional marketing strategy within a multi-country, matrix pharmaceutical company.
- Self-starter with an ability to stay independently motivated and deliver the assigned mandate.
- Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally with diverse colleagues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- 8- 10 years’ experience in retail/ consumers goods industry in a Regional Marketing Manager role.
- Prior experience working in Africa is preferred but not mandatory.
