Executive Assistant, SHE and Communication Officer

Are you a dynamic and structured person, and want to have an impact on the health system and for patients in Central Africa? Roche RDC is looking for its Executive Assistant, also responsible for SHE (safety, health, environment) and Communication.


Affiliate Executive Assistant

  • Manage and follow up of GM and team agenda and coordinate all related activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Specific follow-up requested by GM
  • Prepares expenses claims of GM
  • Preparing documents & presentations, travel and meetings arrangement for GM
  • Ensure affiliate’s Documentation Management in accordance with COREMAP requirements
  • Support issuing and update administrative/legal documentation (AGE, AGO, BoD, Delegation of duties…)

SHE Officer

  • Supporting and advising site GM in SHE matters
  • Promoting SHE in the Company based on local / global Roche SHE objectives and goals
  • Supporting the organization for compliance with local legal regulations and with Roche SHE provisions (gap analysis; implementation of measures to close the gaps)
  • Preparing and maintaining the SHE handbook as required by the Roche Group SHE Guidelines
  • Supporting line management in SHE training for employees
  • Preparing, developing and maintaining a system for receiving, documenting and responding to SHE related reports and complaints
  • Ensuring that a risk analysis process is implemented and documented
  • Conducting and follow up on periodic SHE inspections

Communications Officer

  • Lead Company’s internal and external communication strategy, planning & execution, in alignment with affiliate priorities and global Roche guidelines and network.
  • Design and coordinate Company’s internal and external events.
  • Logistics responsible for the events
  • Organizing and coordinating regular project meetings
  • Organizing and coordinating external meetings
  • Keeps track of external local events and evaluates opportunity for Roche to take part
  • Monitor communication and events’ outcomes and continuously improve future plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Administration, Project Management or Office Management;
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in similar roles in multinational companies,
  • Structured and methodic; excellent attention to details;
  • Perfect knowledge of MS office package;
  • Fluent in French and English;
  • Excellent writing and communications skills;
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Well organized, proactive, agile,
  • Ability to handle stress well, and to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • High integrity & worth of trust
